The Claims Department has a set of service standards, which guide all our interactions with our clients/potential clients, and we strive to achieve excellence in the delivery of our claims product. Over the years, we have built a close relationship with our clients and are always accessible for responses to any queries arising from any incident/claim or potential claim.

The Claims Department has a set of service standards, which guide all our interactions with our clients/potential clients, and we strive to achieve excellence in the delivery of our claims product, whilst being governed by the maxim “Your Claim is our First Priority”!

General – Major/Minor Perils and Catastrophes
  • Immediately report incident to the Police (where applicable – such as for Burglary or malicious damage)
  • Take pictures of the damaged areas and items.
  • Secure premises and items to prevent further loss or damage.
  • Report loss to us as soon as possible but at least within 30 days.
  • Obtain an estimate of repair or replacement for the damaged or stolen item(s):
    • For building damage: obtain an estimate from a reputable builder/contractor.
    • For contents damage: prepare an inventory of lost/damaged items to include age of items, purchase prices and/or repair estimate or replacement cost.
  • Retain all invoices for items purchased
  • In the case of Minor Perils request a Police Report to facilitate settlement
Reporting a Benefits Claim
  • Report all claims as soon as possible; the maximum allowable timeframe for reporting is 90 days from the date of service.
  • Submit originals of the below documents:
    • Completed Claim Form for the applicable Insurer (download claim form) sign and stamp by the service provider.
    • Receipts for all payment made regarding the diagnosis
Reporting a General Motor Claim
  • As soon as possible report any incident of a claim to us either by phone 926-1140 or email motorclaims@ffkja.com
  • Download applicable claim form for insurer and complete
  • Photograph the damaged areas and items
  • Visit our office with copies of the below documents:
    • Completed Claim Form
    • Pics of Damage
    • Motor Vehicle Certificate of Fitness
    • Motor Vehicle Registration Certificate
    • Driver’s License of all parties involved
